I am executive director, Concerned Professionals, a membership driven civil society group of professionals committed to good governance, promotion and deepening of democratic principles and practice, accountabilty and transparency in Nigeria through advocacy, training and capacity building. I studied Government and Public Administration at Abia State University and obtained a Masters degree in Political Science from University of Lagos.
I have professional experience as a journalist and columnist at Daily Times Newspapers, Nigeria's oldest and largest newspaper conglomerate, before joining Verity Communications Ltd, a reputable communications consulting and publishing company in Nigeria, where I edited the widely acclaimed annual handbook , Nigeria: Politics, Business, Economy.
I had earlier as Program Officer, Environmental Rights Foundation, responsible for program design, implementation and monitoring.
A current commentator on national issues, my articles on democracy, governance, development and population related issues have appeared in reputable newspapers, journals, and internet sites in and outside Nigeria such as Global Politician, Daily Independent {Nigeria}, New Age Newspapers, New African magazine among others.
