Dear Anjez;
We are currently finalizing a program called National Youth Action Program aimed at encouraging youths to get actively involved in national development and reducing brain drain that in part contributes to the problems of illegal emigration in developed countries. The program will start the first Cameroon volunteering agencies that support Cameroonians volunteer in different rural and semi-urban communities. Please kindly let me know if there are programs you know that work towards encouraging citizens to stay in their home countries.
sincerely

Profile Information

Country of resident:
The Netherlands
About Me:
Because of the former colonial times in worldhistory (for example former socalled "Dutch Indonesia"), i am from "Eurasian" descent and my country of birth has become The Netherlands. My mother was born in nowadays Jakarta, Indonesia's capital, former Batavia; my father is from Frysian root, yet my surname is German because of centuries back "German descent" from my father's side too...In my "country of resident" i am an author of the "post colonial" generation (in relation to former colonized Indonesia), poet and poet-artist, and already some years ago i earned from Leiden University my MA in Literature (with no boundaries in 'time' or 'language', my focus both on oral (for example various epics from Africa) and written literature, a variety of philosophical and psycho-analytic approaches and such more, and i loved the most the topic of 'semiotics')... I feel myself a citizen of Planet Earth and i am always internationally focussed, since i feel all of us are Humanity. I would like the boundaries of any smallmindedness to be opened up and want Humanity to Unite all Knowledge together in one Knowledge of and for Humanity in a World United and Governed in Peace. Last but not least: in many European "insignes" we can observe the symbol of the 'lion'..., yet the lion is an animal from African soil.

Dear Friends,

The above is the link to the African Studies Center in Leiden, The Netherlands, the only Studies Center on Africa, also related to the University of Leiden, and the only one African Studies Center in The Netherlands:

"The African Studies Centre in Leiden is the only academic research institute in the Netherlands devoted entirely to the study of Africa. It welcomes African scholars through its visiting fellowship programme, has a monthly seminar programme and an extensive liContinue

This link contains a text from 1975... On Africa's Face in the World

Hi All Friends here,

This is just some typed 'blog'..., and as such no "author's ambitions" here, apart from the fact that i am not a socalled "native speaker" of the English language... at all, this 'blog' as such being no "writing" but only... typing..., and then..., as such..., just a 'note' from me here... on "On Africa's Face in the World"..., where it comes to the "news" the common media "feeds" us with, as for example in Europe: catastrophe, sadness, horror, little boys forc… Continue
