This is to let everyone know that I am returning to study at the University of Western Australia this year, 2009. The University offers second degree programs for their Honours graduates, so I am taking up a degree in Letters so as to enhance my writing and teaching skills since shifting away from formal academic journal articles and conference papers into historical and documentary fiction.

The reason being of course that the latter reaches a far wider audience, including young adults crying out for real knowledge and understanding of their own history and culture.

Hopefully too I will be able to write into my work stories about what works in bringing peace and stability, and especially narrative on conflict done in such a way as to not offend people and provide an opportunity to learn from it.

There is a great deal also that still has to be written about Australia, probably the whole world in fact, but I simply cannot bite off too much at once.

Well, yes, difficult too when funding is short, although I am very confident now that projects can be implemented effectively through the selection of readers for schools, and in literature generally.

Kindest regards,

Gil

I am a Qualified Education, Training and Development Practitioner, Assessor and Moderator. I have done Motivational Speaking, assited people in sorting out their own lives - Developed a very effective Woman Empowerment Programme that I run in South Africa - and have looked at a Women Developmental Project that I would like to implement accross the world - havent had any luck though - nobody wants to assist in funding this project - I would love Ideas and find out where I could be used in the Educational Part of this Institution - further I would like to assist in global healing - although I understad that charity begins at home - my Resident place being South Africa - where a lot of corruption and crime is taking place - people are leaving the country afraid of their lives. Futher I design and develop Education Programmes - as well as have/own an accredited national and international Training Company- called Future Performance Trainig - My expertise would be then Train the Trainer, Course Development, Assessor and Moderator, Empowerment and Development.
